My BIG news!

No, I'm not pregnant. For some reason every time I tell people I have big news, they think my husband and I are expecting. So not the case!

I was contacted today by The Detroit Free Press, who will feature Jamie Fodale Photography in this Sunday's paper! I'm still trying to pick my mouth up off of the floor. The reporter called me today, we had a very nice chat on the phone and said the article would be in Sunday's paper. I'm so excited! Ethan's 1st birthday

This is Ethan and he just turned one! He is so adorable and very serious. He liked reading his books and had to check out everything in his yard. Aren't his eyes amazing?

Meet Liam

Liam is only 10 days old. He loves to be held and was awake for almost our entire session. I hope his mommy and daddy are getting a good night sleep tonight.

You have to check out these two links to believe what advertisers do to make their ads "look more attractive." It is rediculious, unnatural and harmful to some people's self images. Don't get me wrong, I do use programs in post production to inchance my own images, but this is extreem. My post production is to remove a blemish or convert an image to black and white - not to thin someones arm, strech their neck and make their eyes bigger.

What do you think of this type of altered image? Is it too much

I couldn't help it

I had to share a few more images of this gorgeous couple. The image with the fountain in the foreground, reminds me of a James Bond movie. It has a classic, beautiful, elegant and sexy element about. This was the perfect setting for our session.

Introducing Aidan

This is Aidan, the sweetest baby. He was awake for the first half of our session today. We must have wore him out because he slept the rest of the time I was there. His mommy and daddy sure are lucky and so is he to have them. They are such a beautiful family. I hope you enjoy him as much as I did.

Senior Models

Here is the outline to our Senior Model program. If you are interested in becoming a senior model please call 586-855-6549 for more information.

Each Senior Model will receive a 3 location session or ½ off the All Around Town package and Senior Rep. Cards. These cards are like your own business cards. They will be custom designed using the photos from our session and include Jamie Fodale Photography contact information. Each time a Senior schedules a session with me and brings in your Rep. card, you will receive credit towards one referral. Each referral will lead to more opportunity for wallets, print credits and prizes.

The breakdown of the referral program works like this…
1 Referral = 12 wallets
2 Referrals = 24 wallets
3 Referrals = 24 wallets plus $50 print credit
Every referral after 3 = another $50 print credit
10 Referrals = a set of 50 custom designed graduation announcements
20 Referrals = a limo to the Prom

The Senior Model with the most referrals at the end of the school year will win an iPod.

Aletia and Leonard

I have always said I never wanted to photograph weddings, but this is my dream couple to work with so I will be photographing their wedding next month. These two are so in love. You can just tell they are going to have a wonderful marriage. This is their engagement session from today. I had to give a preview of their gorgeous photos. In the last image, can't you just feel him breathing in her beauty?

Morgan

Morgan is turning 4 tomorrow and this is her family's first photos together. Morgan's mom is my girlfriend from Jr. High school. Aren't they a beautiful family? Morgan loves being outside and she love animals so I had to add the ducks just for her.

Lost Favorites

I take tons of photos of my family every month. I take the photos, download them to my computer, browse through them, pick my favorites, edit just my favorites and print them. At the end of each month I make sure to go back through my files once more just to make sure I didn't skip over some shots I LOVE. Of course every month I find a few that are not technically perfect that I skipped the first time around. Now that a little time has passed, I don't mind the imperfections and I LOVE the images all over again. Here is a sample of my skipped favorites of June 2007.
