Pinterest and Complenentary Sessions

Pinterest is an on line pin board. They have everything you can possible want. Cool photography, party ideas, food ideas, home decorating, holiday musing, art, fitness... Seriously I can not say enough great things about this place. As you can see here, Pinterest I have pinned more than 1,700 things. Feel free to follow one or all of my boards.

I would like to give away several sessions. These sessions must be completed by March 31, 2012. Create a pin board with your session in mind. Anything from a feeling, to clothing, colors, props, poses and we'll make it happen. Leave a link to your inspiration board named Jamie Fodale Photographyhere on our Facebook Fan Page. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

PS - I forgot to mention, the person who's session embodies their pin board most accurately will receive a canvas wall print!

2012 Canendar Events

Do you need to plan a birthday party? Looking for something fun and different? Have a photography/scrapbooking party. Each child will have a chance to take photos with real digital cameras, the images will be printed and then everyone gets to make a scrapbook out of the prints from the same day.

March 3 - Easter sessions

June 16 - an exciting Limited Edition session - to be announced

July 21 - Dog Days of Summer

August - Limited Edition Carnival sessions

October 14 - Halloween mini sessions

These are only a few of the many events we will host this year. We also have another photography class planned and a scrapbooking crop party planned as well.

Digital Collections now for Sale

I have been asked several times over the years if I offer digital collections.  I have only offered two small options.  This coming year will be the first time you will be able to purchase 20 or more printable images from your session. 

Since we have never before offered digital collections, this is the one and only chance to obtain sessions from 2010 and earlier.  They will be deleted from our working hard drive forever by Feb. 1, 2012.  These sessions are at a greatly reduced price.

If you HAVE placed a print order from a 2011 session, you may also purchase a digital collection. 

Family

This image is of my husband in front of one of the homes he grew up in. He though his mom and dad would really love the same photo they took of him on his 1st birthday again some 30 years later. This time the photo includes our sons. We gave the images to his mom and it took her a few minutes, however she recognized the house and it brought back a flood of memories.
Life changes. Sons become fathers. Parents become grandparents. Families grow as children become adults. Memories last as long as we keep them alive. As a little girl, my cousins would call me an old lady because I wanted to sit with my aunts and grandma. I wanted to listen to the stories that were being relived. I wanted to remember.
As I am sitting here writing this, I received a package from my Great Aunt Rita containing photos from the early 1900's of family members. I love looking at the their clothing and figuring out who and how they are related. My sister decided to go on to ancestry.com to start to figure out our family tree. I was surprised how little she knew. She was surprised at how much I remembered. I attribute it to my childhood "old lady days".
Photos are a great way of connecting the dots - past, present and future. Why do you take photos?

Model T sessions

Sunday October 16 we are offering sessions with a 1926 Model T. Your child will be able to sit in and on the Model T, pretend to drive and fix it too! This is a once in a lifetime chance to play and discover just like any child LOVES to do. If your little guy loves cars and trucks this is the session for him.

You may come all dress up or just in jeans and a white tee shirt. The options are limitless. These sessions will be perfect for Christmas cards as well.



Sessions are limited.
$100 session fee is due at the time of scheduling your appointment.
You will receive an 8x10.
Each appointment is 45 minutes.
Your on line gallery will be ready within 10 days for viewing. You may submit your order via email or you may schedule an in person ordering session.
Rain day will be October 30 and you will keep the time of your original appointment.
