We have an English Bulldog named Artie. He is 19 months old and very sick. Recently in our local paper the Eastsider there was a story about a dog that contracted Leptospirosis. After we read the article we scheduled an appointment for Artie to get the vaccination. Apparently we were just a few days too late. Please I beg of you, if you live in the area it's only a $20 vaccine. Call your vet today.
It is not confirmed 100% because the blood work is not back from the lab being a holiday weekend, however it is suspected to be what he has. Even though we caught it early and he's healthy and young, he still only has a 60% chance of survival. We would appreciate any good thought or prayers for our little guy. Jamie I am so sorry to hear this. Artie is an awesome dog. I hope he comes through it.
