SENIORS

Are you tired of the traditional, stuffy, posed senior photos you get from local studios? Wouldn’t you rather have photos that represents YOU, the real you? Are you interested in becoming a senior model for your school?

I will be accepting 2 guys and 2 girls from each local school as senior models. Senior models get the benefit of a free basic session, the opportunity to also get free prints, announcements and even an iPod. To find out how, call 586-855-6549.

Do you have what it takes?

Freedom

I LOVE summer. I do love every season, but this time of year my family is able to spend the most time together. Last Saturday, we went to the Roseville fireworks and they were unbelievable! My boys had so much fun. It was a great family night. Here are a few photos I captured that evening. Hope you enjoy!

Remembering Danny

Danny

Danny was a wonderful man married to my best friend, Tricia. Together they have a beautiful son Ethan (whom you can see a few posts earlier.) Danny was diagnosed with Leukemia and fought it for almost two years when he passed away in June 2006.
This June near the anniversary of his death, his friends and family had a remembrance service and a party to celebrate his life. Danny was funny and silly and his personality won you over. You couldn't help, but laugh around him. That's one of the million things I miss about him.

My birthday

I did announce my birthday a few days ago. I did not mention that my dad's birthday is the day after mine. So here is a fun photo of our cakes and party. The cakes were delicious. My mom makes the best deserts! Happy Birthday Dad!

Engagement photos: Joe and Kellie

These are my good friends Joe and Kellie, who were recently engaged. I've known Joe since 6th grade and was excited when Kellie asked me to photograph them. Joe wasn't so sure about having his photo taken, but he was a good sport. I hope these images capture the excitement of being engaged.

Ethan

This is my best friend's son, Ethan. He wanted NOTHING to do with my camera, but I managed to sneak a few nice photos of him while I was asking him about Buzz Light Year and playing swords with blades of grass. We will be doing a second session where Tricia, his mom will join us too. Thanks for looking.

I'm 30!

Today is my 30th birthday. My sister will not stop giving me a hard time about it (she's 4 years younger). I really could care less. For some reason 25 was harder to get use to than 30. Maybe it's because I'm happy with my life. I'm doing what I love, I love my family and no one has better friends. It's just a number. There is nothing you can do to change it, stop it or slow it down so why worry about it.

So my 30th birthday is nothing more than an excuse for my husband and I to spend time together this weekend. We will be going to the Tiger game during the day and hanging out with friends later in the evening.

Age is just a number, your spirit is who you are and who you are is why I love you and why you love me, so why would a number matter at all? Here is my birthday wish...I see the art in life. Life is beautiful at every age. Spirit, grace, wit and passion are what I wish for today and everyday.

The Detroit Zoo

I went to the zoo with a few of my girlfriends and our kids. There were 5 adults and 6 kids. And no major melt downs, can you believe it? The weather was perfect. I wanted to share my favorite photos of the day. I hope you enjoy.

Selfridge Homecoming CDs are completed

I am finally finished working on the cds. They are burned, they have labels, they are in their cases and they have their inside sleeves. I did not expect this project to consume this much time, but I wanted to offer the quality product my clients expect to receive. I will be mailing out the copies tomorrow for everyone who has contacted me and the rest of the cds will be delivered next week. If you have any questions regarding printing please contact me at 586-855-6549. I have included a gift certificate in every CD. Here is a sneak peak.
