Sweet Pea

Believe it or not this little guy was not into having his photo taken;) He was happiest without his clothes! That is not the norm, however we did manage to get a few cute images and you will be seeing more of this sweet pea soon! Here are just a few to tide you over until next time. Enjoy!

Cute as can be

Max and Abby are super cute! Their outfits were adorable and I just love this park. Abby loved the camera and as you can see my camera loved her back! Max wanted to go in the water so badly and mom gave in. We were able to catch some great smiles!

A Concern

***EDIT***
Alright! I know who you are;) I have not received one email yet. Don't wait too long.
***

As I was talking to guests at the open house, I was finding a common problem...wall portraits are not hung on your walls!
Shame, shame. No, I'm just kidding, however I would like to know why. In the past, I have not sold frames. Could that be the answer? Are you finding it difficult to find frames you like or is it just finding the time to get the frames? Or are you afraid to hang the portraits yourselves? Either way please contact me directly here or privately in an email.

In the past I have offered free hanging with the purchase of a 16x20 or larger. Usually clients have not taken me up on the offer because they did not have their frames yet. Because I have heard from several people this weekend that their portraits are not hung, I will set up a weekend day and come to your homes with a professional and we will get your portraits up on the walls - any size! Contact me asap to save your space!

I will soon be offering a custom locally built frame collection. You will have plenty of time to order one of these gorgeous frames before the hanging date.

The Open House

If you can believe it, I only have these photos to share with you. I was overwhelmed with the kindness and also the amount of people who had a chance to pop in. The plants, flowers, bottles of wine were all appreciated! Completely unnecessary, however appreciated! I have to give a big thanks to my family who helped out greatly! I hope everyone had plenty to eat because my mom thought she was cooking for a small army. I have enough food left to have a second party;)

Congratulations to all of the winners! Several prizes were given out - things like my favorite children's book, mini wallet albums, mommy cards, free up grade on a wall portrait, complimentary sessions and much more! I have not contacted everyone yet. I will hopefully finish the calls by tomorrow afternoon. All prizes are good for one year and must be applied to new sessions.

New events are being planned right now. Check back in the next 2 weeks to find out about the exciting up coming events!

Thank you again to everyone who came and also everyone who helped!

Just a reminder...

about Jamie Fodale Photography's Open House Saturday, September 20, 2008.
I have received tons of phone calls asking if you can bring a guest. Of course you can! As a matter of fact the more guests you bring, the better the chance you have to win a gift!
The party is from 1pm until 5pm. Children are welcome. We have a fantasy land set up for the girls and rugged play area for the boys. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
We can't wait to show off the new digs and first dibs to attendants on special offers. One of the offers will feature a story time session with Santa. The open house will be the first opportunity to set up your private story time appointment with the Real Santa! Your child will have 15 minutes all to him or herself to listen to a story, tell Santa what they would like for Christmas and have one of a kind photos taken! These photos will capture the awe of the Christmas spirit and the magnitude of Santa through your child's eyes. Photos will be much more personal than your typical mall photos - come in your jammies if you'd like! Santa will know your child's name and what he or she would like! And the best part, no waiting in line! Parents will be able to see the images immediately after the session. Orders will be placed on the day of the session, payment is due at this time also and your orders will be delivered in time to use for your holiday cards.

Like I said this is just one of the offers, tons of gifts will be won and some can be taken home the same day! Come on in and let the kids play!

Free Spirit

I love when I get free creative control and that's just what Tiffanee gave. She was up for anything. We used two outfits, two different wraps and daddy's uniform. There are tons of fun images. I had a hard time narrowing it down to three - so I didn't! Thanks again Tiffanee! It was a pleasure!

The sun, moon and the stars

To one of the best Mommy's I know. We wish we could give our children the moon, tell them to reach for the stars and in our hearts they shine like the sun. My little sis is one of the best Mommy's I know. Love you kid! Chin up and keep on doing what you're doing! Paige is one lucky little girl and she knows it! (so do my boys!)

Perfect!

What a perfect day! Great location, cute girls, to die for lighting and great clothes - What more could a photographer ask for? Um, NOTHING! This was just one of those perfect sessions where everything just falls into place. The girls were so good, too! Can't you just see the love? I had such a hard time editing, I could not choose only three images to post. So... enjoy!

Just a few more

She is so cute, I couldn't help to post a few more images from our session. Enjoy!

Mr. & Mrs S

Joe and Kellie are married and probably on their way to a beautiful beach. The wedding was beautiful, the flowers were the most gorgeous I have ever seen and the venue was stunning. It was a fun night and wonderful celebration! Congratulations! Enjoy your honeymoon and relax.

Why do they have to grow up?

Today is Anthony's first day of Kindergarten. I am not happy about him being in school ALL day. I honestly think 8:30-3:40 is too long of a day for a 5 year old, but I thought I was ok with him going. I thought I would eventually get use to my house being so quite I could work during the day. I thought about the errands I could do with only having one child during the day. I thought about the one on one time Vinny could receive. Then I started to think about how long he would be gone for each day, what will he be doing, how much another person will influence his life, how lifeless my home will feel, how much I will miss him and how much Vinny will miss his playmate and best friend. Then my husband started to tell me how sad he was about Anthony starting school and how quickly high school will be here. He said to me, "Wasn't it just last week when I was walking you home from high school?" It seems like it to me, but obviously my sense of time is warped. I thought I just found out I was pregnant with Anthony yesterday. It's been six years since that happened! I remember the 2 hour conversation my husband and I had as soon as I discovered we were expecting. The future, our hopes and dreams... I know we have to let go, but I still want to hang on for a little while longer.
Love you babe. Have a great first day of school.
Love,
Mommy
