Family and Friends

Tina and I have been my friends since the beginning of high school. Tina is a wonderful mom and getting married on News Years Eve. It will be the only wedding I'm photographing all year. The very last day of the year. How fitting!

This is also the first time I had this large of a group in the studio. It was fun and went without a hitch.

Anyway, shh, this is a surprise for her mom for Christmas. I know she'll love it!

Family ties

I love this family portrait. I wish I had one like this. ;)

Being 4 ROCKS!

Here's more of little Missy Paige. She is the toughest child I photograph and lucky me, she's my niece so I photograph her all of the time;) She makes me work hard, however we always have a few at the end of the session I love and this sessions was no different. I think these photos capture the diva in her and you can see her sassy little personality shining through! All I have to say is Paige your birthday invitations are gonna ROCK! Love you ~Auntie

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have to say I am thankful for my family - life long friends - my camera - cafe mocha - laughter - love - art - inspiration - creativity - seeing the world through my boy's eyes - our home - health - the fruit market - magazines (I don't know I love them) - the brisk air that reminds you to breath - change - traditions - teaching - learning - our troops - our country -

I am especially thankful for my wonderful husband who supports my dreams, shares my past and future, and knows me like no one else on earth. He is my friend, lover, inspiration and partner in crime. He is thoughtful, kind and charming when he remembers to be. And of course without him I wouldn't have my boys. Who I love more than I knew I could love anything. When my oldest son was born, my mom said "he is the proudest accomplishment you will ever have," (of course Vinny is too.) She was right. Life doesn't get better than it is! Does it?

I wish everyone be surrounded by friends and family today and have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Please leave a comment and tell me what you are thankful for!

Twins and their big sister

So sweet and so cute and so much work. These parents have their hands full. Having one baby is tough two is stressful, however they tag team and take care of them effortlessly. Twice the work equals twice the fun! Their big sister is so cute too! Thanks for inviting me into your home. It was a pleasure.

My Website

Well, I've been saying for far too long that I had to redo my web site. It is down and I can not reload it. So this is the kick in the butt I needed to get my new one up and going. It will be a few weeks because of course this is one of the busiest times of the year. Stay tuned and I'll let you know when the new one is up and running. You'll have to check it out to see if your family will be featured!

Please feel free to contact me at jfodale@comcast.net or 586-855-6549.

My first Nephew!

Here is baby Jake! I can't wait to meet him in person. For now, this has to do. Oh yeah and all of the cute noises he makes while I'm on the phone! Love you guys!

A cool local photography artist

This is a friend and a super cool artist. I love her work. It's fun, creative, dark and completely inspiring. So go check out her show. Metro Times wrote about her.

Aidan

He is always a happy baby and look at how big he is getting. Could that little vest be more adorable? We went to a great park with an old train. I can't really remember what caught Aidan's attention to get that expression, but it doesn't really matter, it's too darn cute!

PS Look at those eyes!

Story Time with Santa sessions

CRAZY FACES!

The Story Time with Santa was magical. I had as much fun as the kids did! This will become an annual event. I have heard from several parents thanking me and saying that their child had a wonderful time. There was no stress to hurry up and tell Santa what they wanted. They could talk as much or as little as they liked. Boys and girls were amazed Santa knew their names. My boys are still talking about him and think Santa is still at the studio. Not until next year!

Thank you to everyone that helped Greg and Jen from Croft and Campbell Photography, my sister Amanda and my friend Violet.

Oh course you knew I had to post a few of my favorites and my boys always have to get in one crazy face;)

Daddy and his girls

This is a delightful family I met through my son's preschool class. Three beautiful girls could easily get out of control. (Believe me, I have 2 sisters!) However, the girls toughed out the freezing weather and didn't complain or even look cold in the photos. Thanks for being such troopers girls and yeah and mom and dad too! Enjoy your sneak peek.

Walk With Me Lance

Lance was not excited to see me when I first arrived. Mom knew just how to pull him out of his shell. He kept his eye on her the entire time. In these images you can see how much he loves her. I met Lance through an amazing program called Walk With Me. You can find more information about this program HERE.
