Once the maid of honor, Once the photographer

Tina and I have been friends for more years than I'm going to count. When she asked me to photograph her wedding, I of course said no...SEVERAL times. As it is well documented here I become a nervous wreck, obsessively search the internet, and freak out on my family. Not just the night before the wedding, not the week before - from the date I agree to photograph a wedding until the actual wedding ceremony is over. So this was about a 7 month freak out and I feel like I was tricked into it. Ok, not really, but Tina is awfully persuasive. She and Michael have both been married before. I was actually the maid of honor at Tina's first wedding (hence the title). She told me it was no big deal, it was very laid back, second weddings for both of them, yadda yadda. NO BIG DEAL? This freakin' wedding was at The Townsend! Is she out of her mind? She need real wedding photographers that is why I invited Greg and Jen from Croft and Campbell Photography to help me out. Oh I felt so much better once they were on board. I don't think my family was afraid of me the week before the wedding. That is a good sign. See I only go crazy because I take my work seriously and I only want the best for my clients. I love to photograph weddings, I just don't want to be THE ONE in charge;)

Now for the details of the wedding...
the dress - GORGEOUS
the location - to die for. I mean come on The Townsend in Birmingham?
the time - New Years Eve - crazy fun!
the cake - so delicious I wanted to steal the guy's next to me!
the ceremony - romantic
the mood - PARTY all night long!
Oh and by the way the bride was breath taking. The groom couldn't keep his eyes off of her. Neither could anyone else in the room.

I couldn't be happier for you. You can see and feel how in love with each other you really are. It's magical and contagious. Congratulations! It was quite an honner and a little too much fun! (It took an entire day to recooperate.)

I love you! May you enjoy peace, love and happiness for many years to come.
Jamie
